Adult Therapy

Are you struggling to cope with life stressors?  Are you overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted? Our counselors and medical providers recognize how everyday stress, major life events, and chronic conditions can have an impact on your overall health and emotions.  At Bray Family Medicine we prioritize your psychological well-being alongside your physical wellness and offer a variety of care options to meet your unique needs.  Whether you are concerned about depression, experiencing anxiety, suffering from trauma, or coping with grief, we help manage your treatment and incorporate it into the bigger picture of your primary care.

Child Therapy

Sometimes your child’s struggles are just “bumps in the road” – and other times they’re more serious. Our therapists specialize in working with children and their parents. Among other modalities, they utilize play therapy to help young children struggling with anger, hyperactivity, aggression, sadness, fear and other psychological issues. The power of play allows children to utilize their natural ability to develop new and creative solutions to problems, learn to express emotions in a healthy way, cultivate empathy and respect for others, and learn social and relational skills with family.

Addiction Treatment

We understand that the challenges faced throughout recovery can be incredibly difficult to maintain. We take a team approach to tackling addictive behaviors. Intensive counseling helps patients develop healthy levels of personal understanding and adjustment regarding addictive behaviors. We also offer treatment with safe medications to decrease the cravings for the addictive substance. At Bray Family Medicine, we are dedicated to supporting people who are working to overcome addiction. If you’re struggling with alcohol, drug, or behavioral addictions, we can help.
